  • How would your technology work in water?
The specific application is to analyze the technique of swimmers during swim practice. Here it is important to observe the swimmer’s location, orientation, and position of the joints as the swimmer moves across the pool. I expect that your technology could provide superior information than is available from the over/under-water cameras currently used.
    Thanks

    • It depends how deep the swimmer is. If they are on top the water then the tracking will be very good.

      • All of the swimmers body would be in the top 1 meter of water with the top of the head, back, and legs within 10 mm of the surface. How good would tracking be at these depths?
        Thanks again.

        • The only problem I see is that the current devices are not water resistant. They would have to be placed inside something to make them waterproof.
